Salary*
Fellows will become salaried employees of Prince George's County Public Schools (PGCPS) on the first day that all teachers report to work in August. The starting salary for Fellows is the same as that for all other beginning teachers in the PGCPS system; a first-year Fellow can expect to make $44,799 annually. Fellows with advanced degrees directly related to their teaching assignment can make up to $54,367 during their first year.

As employees of PGCPS, Fellows are eligible for the same comprehensive benefits as all teachers, including a pension plan, choice of health insurance plans, dental, prescription, and vision coverage.
Loan Forgiveness
Fellows may be eligible for loan cancellation or deferment of Perkins and Stafford student loans.
